Looking for something to read?

TwitBookClub may be able to help you decide what's worth your time and what's not. Our goal is to make you want to read again, so we're not here to force you to read books you don't want to; but the community is offering up lots of choices for your consideration every month. We don't always discuss just the recent bestsellers, our choices are dictated by the community, and we follow the "Anything Goes" road. 

Established December 14, 2009, #TwitBookClub, a UAE-based bookworm community that meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 1100 up until about 1400 at Caffe Nero (near Dubai World Trade Center). We also live tweet our meetings, so those who cannot make it, are able to join our discussions via Twitter. We start with a bit of breakfast first, then move onto the discussions. 

Joining the group is very easy, all you have to do is show up to one of our monthly meetings; it doesn't matter whether you've read our current choices or not, we're not the kind of book club that forces you to read, we'd rather you enjoy the reading experience. :) We're here purely to help you decide what it is you want to read.

We are a community ran book club & we need your help behind the scenes! If you would like to get involved with us and help us out (organizing, planning events, etc), e-mail us. We have big plans, but need a hand in implementing them.

Meeting Details

When? Every 3rd Saturday of the month
Where? Currently we meet at Caffe Nero near Dubai World Trade Center Metro station.

Caffe Nero is generous enough to offer us coffee & a pastry for AED15 during our meetings.
